About Corky

Howdy! My name is Cork, and I am a 30 year old Chicago resident. If you want to know what I look like, all of the pictures on this page are of me. I am six foot tall, have dishwater blond hair and blue eyes, and I weigh around 185 pounds. For the most part, I am a prety mellow person... easy going... laid back. But, don't take that to mean that I am not fun loving. I am currently single, but wouldn't mind dating some great guy. Some of my better qualities would have to be honesty, loyalty, compassion and chivalry - all qualities I try to find in friends. I do smoke (and try to be polite about it) and occasionally like a drink or two. No other drugs though - I do not have much tolerance for street or party drugs.

Hobbies Etc...

I enjoy doing a lot of things. I like to read (like a little bit of everything from Stephen King to Patricia Cornwall to Mercedees Lackey to Agatha Christie to Clive Barker to ...) I like to write both music and stories... I love photography, watching movies (I have a collection of approximately 700 titles) For music, I tend to listen to a little bit of everything too. A little pop, a little tekno, a little new age, a little classical... Other things I enjoy would be playing computer games like You Don't Know Jack or Tomb Raider... playing card games like solitare or strip poker...

Career

As for a career, I am an investigative behavioral psychologist (former law enforcement officer). What can I say, it is something I enjoy doing. However, I have almost always have had second jobs. That is more because I like to keep myself active (keep me from getting bored too) than anything else. My various second jobs have included things like working in a grocery store, working in a movie theater, bartending, journalism, restaurant management, computer programming, and for nine months I helped run a bed and breakfast near Pikes Peak (Colorado).

Movies

As I said above, I have a large collection of movies. The movies I like best include, comedies, thrillers, mysteries, and sci-fi.I recently got into DVDs and have no idea how I survived for so long on VHS. Teehee..... Favorite movies include films like Practical Magic, Noises Off, Ghost, The Sixth Sense and ... ok, it's hard to chose your favorite movies when you like so many of them.
